Manoj Kumar Sharma was born Morena near Chambal, Madhya Pradesh.
He was from middle class family that was not financially strong.
Manoj Kumar did not perform well academically and the result of 12th board exam fail in all the subject except Hindi.
After Completeing his graduation, He shifted to New Delhi's Mukherjee Nagar, Where he started preparing for UPSC.
He used to work in library peon for Rs.400 per month, which helped in preparing for UPSC exam.
Manoj kumar used to eat one time daily due to financial issue while preparing for UPSC exam.
He gave his 1st attempt and clear the Prelimw but couldn't clear the mains exam.
He gave the 2nd and 3rd attempt but could not clear the prelims exam.
Manoj Kumar Sharma secure All India 121th Rank in his 4th attempt and become IPS officer.
